《European Review》是一本以English為主的未開放獲取國際優(yōu)秀期刊，中文名稱歐洲評論，本刊主要出版、報道社會學-AREA STUDIES領域的研究動態(tài)以及在該領域取得的各方面的經驗和科研成果，介紹該領域有關本專業(yè)的最新進展，探討行業(yè)發(fā)展的思路和方法，以促進學術信息交流，提高行業(yè)發(fā)展。該刊已被國際權威數據庫SCIE、SSCI收錄，為該領域相關學科的發(fā)展起到了良好的推動作用，也得到了本專業(yè)人員的廣泛認可。該刊最新影響因子為0.8，最新CiteScore 指數為1.4。

European Review is a unique interdisciplinary international journal that covers a wide range of disciplines. It attaches great importance to Europe as well as the general aspects of economy, history, social sciences, and science. At least twice a year, there will be a main or complete discussion on one theme, and in-depth exploration of important contemporary topics in Europe; Other questions cover a wide range of topics, but may include a small comment.

The magazine covers the latest debates or research topics in European philosophy, theology, literature, sociology, and humanities and social sciences, and publishes special research issues around major contemporary or historical events in Europe. For example, the spring 2013 issue of European Review focused on "The Euro Crisis" and "Witness Literature," while the autumn 2013 issue focused on "European Immigration Issues. The spring 2014 issue focused on two in-depth research themes: "Rereading Aristotle" and "Durkheim: Reflections on the New Era", exploring the challenges faced by Europe and the core issues in the modernization process
