é tudes Th é ologiques et Religions "is a quarterly publication published by the Institut Protestant de Th é ologie (the seminary of Montpellier and Paris), aimed at disseminating the latest achievements in theological research. Since its establishment in 1926, this journal has become one of the most widely read and disseminated French theological journals. Basic articles covering various fields of theology (such as biblical interpretation, religious history, doctrinal theology, ethics, practical theology, religious studies, etc.).

The readers of this journal include theologians, pastors, clergy, and a broader readership interested in theology and humanities such as hermeneutics, history, philosophy, sociology, psychoanalysis, etc. In the special cases of the Bible, history, philosophy, and other fields, the scientific methods used in Protestant history have been widely accepted by champions of religious studies.
