Frontiers of History in China (FHC) is an English academic journal sponsored by Higher Education Press, aiming to showcase the latest achievements in Chinese historical research. Since its establishment, it has been committed to promoting academic exchanges between China and foreign countries, and advancing Chinese academia to the world. The content of the journal covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to the combination of agriculture and reading, the social function of clothing and decoration, the social interaction of literati, the relationship between economy and transportation, cultural confidence and inheritance, etc. For example, the journal has published research articles on agriculture and reading culture in the Song Dynasty, clothing and social hierarchy in the Song Dynasty, social interactions among literati in the Northern Song Dynasty, and the relationship between southern economy and ships in the Song Dynasty.
