Historia Y Politica is an international academic journal dedicated to the application of formal methods to historical research. The core feature of this journal is its innovation and expansion of historical research methods, especially through quantitative analysis, computer-aided technology, historical metrology and historical information science, which provide historians with new research tools and perspectives.

The journal encourages scholars to use quantitative methods to analyze historical data, including statistical analysis, model building, and forecasting.
