"Historical Studies", published by the Gramsci Foundation, was founded in 1959. In her experience, she has remained faithful to the highly scientific research and development institution originally established, dedicated to all areas of historical study, both temporal and thematic. Historical Studies is a comprehensive journal of history, from ancient to contemporary, examining the past through a multidisciplinary approach; To promote critical study and rigorous filologicamente of the relationship between past and present, and to encourage the study of the ideas and institutions of structural, political and social movements, paying particular attention to inspiring and, in the long run, contributing to their vitality and the construction of modern democratic institutions. Its history also includes an attention to methodological issues, a comparison of foreign histories, an interest in Italian and international debates; Publish articles about historical figures.
