Theory And Decision is an academic journal dedicated to research in the field of decision-making, covering research results from multiple disciplines such as psychology, management science, economics, game theory, statistics, operations research, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and analytical philosophy. This journal aims to promote the development and application of decision theory and encourage interdisciplinary research methods to explore the complexity and diversity in the decision-making process.

The magazine pays special attention to the choice engineering of decision-making, that is, how to optimize individual and collective decision-making processes through formal treatment methods. It welcomes research that can provide new insights and appropriate modeling, whether it comes from a single discipline or interdisciplinary intersection. In addition, the journal also focuses on the application of experimental research in the field of decision-making, as well as the connection between decision-making and cognitive science, as these studies help us to gain a deeper understanding of the cognitive mechanisms involved in the decision-making process.
