Belleten is an academic journal devoted to the study of Turkish history. The magazine covers Turkish history from ancient to modern times, including the rise and glory of the Ottoman Empire, Kemal's Revolution, the establishment of the Turkish Republic, and the political, economic, and social changes of modern Turkey.

The magazine pays special attention to the history of the Ottoman Empire, exploring its expansion and influence on the three continents of Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as the socio-economic dilemmas and political crises it faced in the 17th and 18th centuries. In addition, the magazine deals with the Ottoman Empire's games with European powers, including the Austrian Habsburgs, Venice, and Russia. It provides an important platform for scholars and researchers to deeply understand and study Turkish history, and promotes academic discussion and exchange on Turkish history and culture.
