International Review Of Victimology is a journal of important academic value, which provides a platform for scholars, researchers, policy makers and practitioners from different disciplinary backgrounds to communicate. The journal pays special attention to multidisciplinary research in the field of victimology, including psychology, sociology, law, criminology, and public health, in order to promote a comprehensive understanding of the victim experience.
The journal encourages the submission of research papers that address the rights and needs of victims and how the criminal justice system can respond more effectively to victim issues. This includes an assessment of current policies, an analysis of victim support services, and an exploration of the role and experience of victims in the justice process. In addition, the journal publishes research on innovative approaches to victim protection and recovery strategies and how victimization can be reduced through education and prevention measures.
