International Orthodontics is an international peer-reviewed academic journal with articles aimed at orthodontists, dentists, stomatologists, maxillofacial surgeons and facial plastic surgeons, as well as their assistants, worldwide. It provides a platform for professionals in the field of orthodontics to exchange the latest research results and clinical techniques, and promotes the development of the discipline of orthodontics and international academic exchanges. By publishing high-quality papers, the journal drives progress and innovation in orthodontics worldwide.
The journal covers all areas of orthodontics and odontomaxillofacial orthodontics, and interdisciplinary teams of professionals are especially encouraged to submit papers, including orthognathic surgery, periodontology, prosthodontics and implantology, otolaryngology, sleep medicine, occlusal dentistry, physiotherapy, etc. Journals consider publishing high-quality original studies, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, and case reports if they are of high quality in methodological and scientific content, capable of a comprehensive review of each stage of orthodontic treatment, and if the results have a significant impact on clinical practice or orthodontist knowledge.
