Crime Prevention & Community Safety is an academic journal focused on crime prevention, safety governance, and community safety. It aims to be a platform for professionals, academics, policy makers and practitioners to exchange ideas, share experiences and promote effective strategies and practices. The core objective of the journal is to promote a deeper understanding of crime prevention and community safety issues and to explore innovative solutions.
The journal covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to crime prevention strategies, community policing, youth crime interventions, violence prevention, cybersecurity, and the impact of environmental design on crime. It encourages interdisciplinary research, involving sociology, psychology, law, urban planning, public health and other fields, with a view to exploring and solving crime from different perspectives. Particular emphasis is placed on empirical research and practice-oriented research that can provide scientific basis and specific guidance for policy formulation and practice. Authors are encouraged to submit articles based on field studies, case studies, policy evaluations, and evaluations of intervention programs to demonstrate effective practices and strategies in specific sociocultural contexts.
