Psychological therapy journals mainly focus on topics such as mental health, treatment of mental illnesses, and psychological counseling, while political journals focus on political theory, policy analysis, international relations, and other issues.
However, there are studies that combine psychotherapy with politics, which may explore the impact of political factors on individual or group mental health, or the application of psychotherapy in political environments. But such research is often not specifically carried out by a journal called the International Journal of Psychotherapy and Politics, but is scattered across multiple academic journals in related fields.
