"Sciences In Cold And Arid Regions" mainly reports the latest research results on the processes and patterns of the Earth's surface systems in cold and arid environments. In cold region research, it focuses on special physical, chemical and biological processes and their interactions in low temperature environments, emphasizing the response of the cryosphere to global changes and human activities, as well as environmental impacts and adaptation strategies. The research objects include glaciers, snow cover, river and lake sea ice, perennial and seasonal frozen soil, marginal geomorphology and so on. In the study of arid regions, the journal focuses on the study of specific physical, chemical and biological processes and their interactions in arid environments, emphasizing the response of arid environments to human activities and global changes, as well as environmental impacts and adaptation strategies.
