Perspectivas Em Ciencia Da Informacao is an academic journal focused on the field of information science, covering the professional fields of library science, archival science, museology, and librarians. The journal provides a platform for experts and scholars in the field of information science to publish innovative research results, and promotes the exchange of knowledge and the collision of academic ideas.
The journal encourages the use of a variety of research methods, including quantitative, qualitative and case studies, to explore the theory and practice of information organization, the management and utilization of information resources, the application of information technology, information policies and regulations, and various phenomena and problems arising in the information society. In addition, the journal focuses on key issues in the modern information society such as digital libraries, electronic publishing, information literacy education, and information ethics.
