The Egyptian Journal of Otolaryngology is an academic journal dedicated to the field of otolaryngology, providing a platform for otolaryngologists, researchers, and scholars to publish research findings and exchange academic viewpoints. The magazine covers various aspects of otolaryngology, including but not limited to otology, rhinology, laryngology, and related head and neck diseases. As a professional academic publication, it may include case reports, original research, literature reviews, technological innovations, and discussions on current clinical practices.
The background of the magazine may be closely related to the historical development of otolaryngology. As a modern medical discipline, otolaryngology has undergone a process of differentiation from internal and surgical fields and gradually developed into an independent medical field. In the mid-19th century, otolaryngology, laryngology, and rhinology separated from other disciplines and eventually merged to form otolaryngology.
