Psychoanalytic Social Work is an academic journal with unique value in the field of social work. The close integration of psychoanalytic theory with social work practice provides a platform for social workers, psychologists, and related professionals to engage in in-depth thinking and communication. It covers multiple important aspects, including but not limited to exploring individual psychology, the impact of social environment on individual psychology, using psychoanalytic methods for case work and community intervention, etc.

In terms of individual psychological research, journals may publish articles on the shaping effects of subconscious motivation, defense mechanisms, and early childhood experiences on individual behavior and emotional patterns.
