Journal of French and Francophone Philosophy is an important academic journal dedicated to the study of philosophy in France and the French speaking region. In depth exploration of the development and evolution of philosophical thought in France and the French speaking region, as well as its influence in contemporary philosophical fields. It covers a wide range of periods from classical philosophy to modern philosophy, including traditional French philosophical schools as well as emerging philosophical trends. For modern philosophical schools, the magazine will focus on the theoretical exploration and practical application of existentialism, structuralism, post structuralism and other trends. For example, studying how Sartre's existentialism influences people's understanding of freedom and responsibility, or exploring the application of Foucault's theory of power in the field of social sciences.
In the field of classical philosophy, the Journal of French and Francophone Philosophy may publish a reinterpretation and study of the ideas of philosophers such as Descartes and Pascal.
