The establishment of the Indian Journal of the History of Science aims to promote in-depth research and extensive exchanges on the history of science and technology in India. The articles published in the magazine cover the scientific and technological achievements of various periods in ancient, medieval, and modern Indian history, including traditional medicine and pharmacy, astronomy and calendar, mathematics, agriculture and biology, alchemy and chemistry, industrial technology and traditional crafts, and many other fields.
