Materials Physics and Mechanics is an international academic journal dedicated to the fields of materials science and mechanics. The research published in this journal covers the physical properties, mechanical behavior, and fundamental and applied research on the interactions between these properties and behaviors of materials. The goal of the journal is to promote a deeper understanding of new and existing materials in physics and mechanics, as well as their applications in engineering and technology fields.
The research areas covered by the magazine include but are not limited to the relationship between the microstructure and macroscopic properties of materials, the evaluation of mechanical properties of materials, the fatigue and fracture behavior of materials, and the performance of materials in extreme environments. The journal encourages the submission of experimental research, theoretical analysis, computational simulations, and review articles, especially those that can drive the development of materials science and mechanics through original research.
