Sociology of Development is an academic journal dedicated to the study of development from a sociological perspective, aiming to explore theoretical and empirical issues related to social change and development around the world, with a particular focus on new phenomena and challenges emerging in rapidly changing socio-economic environments. It provides a communication platform for scholars, researchers, and policy makers to promote a deeper understanding of social factors in the development process. The articles published in this journal cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to poverty and inequality, industrialized and post industrialized societies, rural and urban transformation, immigration and population mobility, education and health, environment and sustainable development, etc. Through various methodologies such as quantitative analysis, qualitative research, and case studies, the authors explored the mechanisms behind various social phenomena and proposed targeted policy recommendations.
