The Journal of Zoo and Aquarium Research provides a platform for the rapid publication of novel, peer-reviewed research papers, reviews, technical reports, and evidence-based case studies in the field of zoo and aquarium research. Through live collections in zoos and aquariums, this journal is in a unique position to contribute to research related to conservation.
Zoos and aquariums not only focus on the welfare research of individual animals, including advances in veterinary medicine and nutrition, but also gain a deeper understanding of the psychological and behavioral needs of individual animals; We also attach importance to the study of populations and species, such as animal mate selection and reproductive behavior, mutual behavior, and how to best take care of individual zoos and animal populations in the entire network; It also involves research on habitats and systems, aiming to explore the interactions between species and their environment, as well as the importance of animals to Earth's habitats and ecosystems, in order to contribute to discussions about the sustainable future of humanity.
