Riset Geologi Dan Pertambangan is an open access academic journal that covers interdisciplinary fields related to Earth sciences and welcomes submissions from researchers and practitioners. The journal publishes research papers, reviews, and short newsletters. The specific fields involved include mining finance, economics and evaluation, mineral resource management, planning and control, and mining law; Methods for mine design, development, operation, and organization, as well as resource and reserve estimation, geostatistics, rapid updating of resource and reserve models, and incorporating geological and metallurgical variables into resource and reserve block models; Data integration, especially the integration of direct measurement data and sensor data.
In addition, the description of various mining operations or mines is also a focus of attention, such as open-pit mining operations in new or old mines, including reasons for equipment and method selection, existing technologies used, possible future development, and funding and operating costs. Intended to provide a communication platform for scholars, researchers, and professionals in related fields to explore, express, and publish their views on current trends, challenges, and the latest solutions to various problems in the aforementioned fields.
