The Central European Public Administration Review is dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of public administration in Central Europe and other countries, and to adopting European principles. Public administration is regarded as an important social subsystem that directly affects social development and needs to be explored in a scientifically rigorous and multidisciplinary manner. The journal pays special attention to contemporary issues such as globalization, crisis, post-socialist transition, digitization, decentralization, migration, rule of law, transparency and participation in public affairs, efficiency and accountability.

Journals are indexed in multiple databases, These include Scopus, the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), and the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), HeinOnline, ECONLIT, etc.
