Biolaw Journal-rivista Di Biodiritto is an academic journal dedicated to exploring the complex relationship between law and science. The journal is particularly concerned with examining how law interacts with the fields of life sciences, medicine, and biotechnology from a comparative law perspective. Its core objective is to explore in depth the legal issues and challenges in these areas through an interdisciplinary approach.
At the intersection of law and life sciences, topics such as gene editing, biosafety, and medical ethics are covered. It not only focuses on how existing legal frameworks respond to these rapidly evolving technologies, but also explores the similarities, differences, strengths and weaknesses of legal systems in different countries and regions on these issues. Through the analysis of comparative law, the journal aims to reveal the adaptability and limitations of law in the face of advances in the life sciences, and to provide scientific basis and practical guidance for the formulation of legal policies.
