Ethnobiology and Conservation is an open access academic journal that focuses on traditional knowledge, use, and conservation of biodiversity. The research published in this journal covers ethnic biology, traditional resource management, biocultural diversity, and the application of this knowledge and practice in modern environmental protection. The goal of the journal is to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, support the sustainable use of biodiversity, and provide scientific evidence for the protection of traditional knowledge.
It encourages the submission of original articles, case studies, reviews, and policy analyses on ethnic biology research. The journal pays special attention to research that can demonstrate how traditional knowledge promotes biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services.
