英文介紹
Risk Hazards & Crisis In Public Policy雜志英文介紹
Risk Hazards & Crisis In Public Policy is an academic journal focused on risks, disasters and crises in public policy. The purpose of the journal is to study and comment on society's understanding of and response to risks, disasters and crises, and to discuss how public policy should properly address these issues and the impact of these policies.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary research and commentary, integrating research from many disciplines, including political science, computer science, law, economics, geography, biology, philosophy, physics, medicine, psychology, engineering, sociology, environmental science, history, ecology, and geology. The journal pays particular attention to the fundamental questions of risk and crisis, which have broad implications in the social sciences and policy making. In situations of instability, such as acute or chronic danger and periods of major uncertainty (i.e., crisis), important, deeply rooted social institutions, norms, and values come into play.
