Anti-trafficking Review雜志英文介紹
Anti Trafficking Review is an academic journal published by the Global Alliance Against Trafficking in Women, focusing on various aspects of the complex phenomenon of human trafficking. The magazine aims to provide a platform for in-depth analysis and discussion of trafficking issues, with a particular focus on victims' experiences, policy responses, legal frameworks, and socio-economic factors. The magazine provides valuable insights and information to scholars, policy makers, non-governmental organization workers, and the public through publishing peer-reviewed research articles, thematic discussions, case studies, and reviews.
The content of the journal is not limited to theoretical exploration, but also includes field research and practical experience sharing, in order to promote a more comprehensive understanding of trafficking issues. The magazine encourages interdisciplinary research methods, covering fields such as sociology, law, economics, gender studies, and development studies. The journal published a special issue on everyday abuse in the global economy, exploring how neoliberal policies have led to the erosion of labor rights, and the relationship between these changes and the severe exploitation defined as human trafficking and modern slavery. In addition, the journal also focuses on public awareness and response to trafficking, pointing out that existing propaganda and educational activities often fail to fully reveal the root causes of trafficking and do not call for necessary structural reforms.
