Rever-revista De Estudos Da Religiao is dedicated to informing the academic community and the public about current advances in religious studies and to promoting meta-theoretical discussion of the science of religion. As an interdisciplinary academic platform, the core goal of the journal is to bring together and present cutting-edge results in various fields of religious studies, covering multiple dimensions such as history, theology, anthropology, sociology, and psychology. Through the publication of high-quality academic papers, book reviews, research reports and symposia, it not only provides an in-depth analysis of religious phenomena, but also promotes reflection on the scientific theories and methods of religion.
In addition, the journal pays special attention to meta-theoretical discussions, that is, to critically examine the theoretical foundations, methodologies, and research assumptions of the study of religion itself. This discussion aims to advance theoretical innovation in religious studies, promote a new understanding of religious phenomena, and inspire improvements in religious research methods. By encouraging scholars to reflect on their research processes and theoretical frameworks, the Journal of Religious Studies Review hopes to enhance the scientific and scholarly value of religious studies, thereby fostering dialogue and collaboration among different disciplines.
