The Wacana Seni-journal Of Art Discourse is dedicated to advancing academic research and discussion in the fields of visual arts, performing arts, music and design in Malaysia and the Asian region. As an interdisciplinary journal, it focuses not only on traditional academic papers and research reports, but also on artist projects, artist dialogues, and reviews and evaluations in related fields. The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for closer communication between artists, researchers and academia, and to promote deeper understanding and reflection on various art forms and creative processes.
In terms of content, the magazine covers a wide range of aspects of artistic creation, including exhibitions, performances, recordings and publications. By publishing high-quality art reviews and book reviews, the journal provides readers with a wealth of art resources and insights. In addition, the journal regularly organizes dialogues with outstanding artists, which not only showcase the artists' creative ideas and practical experience, but also provide readers with unique perspectives and inspiration.
