Sungkyun Journal Of East Asian Studies雜志英文介紹

The Sungkyun Journal of East Asian Studies (SJEAS), published since 2001 by the Academy of East Asian Studies (AEAS) at Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea, is a double-blind peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to pre-1945 East Asian humanities(including Vietnam). With original contributions from all over the world, the SJEAS enjoys a strong reputation and increasing readership in its field. The SJEAS is published biannually in May (31 May) and November (30 November) and has been selected for coverage in the Arts &Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) and SCOPUS.

SJEAS seeks to publish, in English, excellent original research in all fields of the humanities concerning the Sinographic Cosmopolis (‘Sinographic Sphere’/’East Asia’, including Vietnam) in the period before 1945. The journal is especially keen to publish research of a comparative nature as well as research on Translation Studies, broadly conceived, and is eager to showcase research by scholars from greater China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam that engages with international scholarship.
