Muttersprache is a German academic journal with a long history, published by the German Language Association (Gesellschaft f ü r deutsche Sprache e. The publication cycle of this journal is quarterly, covering various fields such as language research and culture, theoretical foundations and achievements of language protection, vocabulary research, language development, language history, professional languages, language teaching, and international comparison of German language. In addition, the journal is also a platform for academic exchange between German language teachers and students.
