The Special English Magazine aims to provide readers with basic research results on language description of professional English variation, as well as the application of these research results to specific methodological issues. At the same time, the magazine also publishes review articles on specialized English textbooks and other books related to the profession, providing comprehensive resources and guidance for professional English learners and researchers.

This magazine focuses closely on English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in applied linguistics, covering multiple sub fields such as academic English, professional English, and vocational English. Its research content is extensive, including but not limited to interdisciplinary fields such as business language, legal language, media language, etc., reflecting the gradual improvement of ESP theoretical system and research methods.
