Eighteenth century Fiction "is an international peer-reviewed quarterly publication focusing on literary and cultural history from 1660 to 1832. the magazine has not only witnessed the expansion and deepening of the discipline, but also actively responded to and promoted this process.
With the deepening of academic research, journals have realized that traditional disciplinary boundaries can no longer meet the increasingly complex and changing academic needs. Therefore, it began to broaden its horizons, not only focusing on traditional works of fiction, but also extensively collecting various cultural materials related to 18th century novels, such as drama, poetry, prose, newspapers, manuals, etc., as well as the social, political, economic, and cultural phenomena reflected in these texts. The magazine encourages the use of interdisciplinary research methods and advocates for dialogue and integration between literary studies and other disciplines such as history, philosophy, art, music, etc. It looks forward to receiving academic papers that can propose new research perspectives, challenge traditional concepts, and promote the development of the discipline.
