The Iza Journal Of Labor Policy is an academic journal that focuses on scientific research related to labor policy. The aim of the journal is to publish scientific articles relevant to policy making, especially those that explore the effects of institutional Settings and policy interventions on labor market outcomes from a theoretical and empirical perspective. In addition, the journal publishes literature reviews and meta-analyses that synthesize existing research and review policy-relevant issues.
The journal covers all aspects of Labour policy, including the evaluation of Labour market programmes (including, but not limited to, active Labour market programmes) and educational or other interventions that affect Labour market outcomes, analysis of the relationship between institutions and Labour market outcomes, and all public policy aspects of Labour, education, welfare and related social policies, including effective policy implementation. The journal welcomes research on Labour policy issues from developing, transition and developed economies.
