Journal of Contemporary Drama in English (JCDE) is an academic journal dedicated to the study of contemporary English drama. This journal is published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH in Germany, covering literary creation and performance realization in drama and theater, as well as their close connection with social structures, especially communities. JCDE encourages in-depth exploration of important and emerging topics, and publishes special and thematic questions to ensure that all special issue manuscripts follow the same high-quality standards and peer review process as regular manuscripts.
