Palimpsest: A Journal on Women, Gender, and the Black International is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to interdisciplinary academic research and creative work on African diaspora women and their communities in the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Pacific world. We accept various types of submissions, including academic papers, interviews, and archival documents. All manuscripts undergo anonymous review by editorial committee members and reviewers in relevant fields. The publication purpose of this journal is to promote a deeper understanding of African diaspora women and their communities, and encourage innovative and interdisciplinary research methods. It is of great significance to promote research and discussion on women, gender, and African diaspora communities on a global scale.
