The Journal Of Cultural Geography is an academic journal devoted to the in-depth study of the interaction between culture and geospace. It is not only an important publication within the field of human geography, but also an important forum for the intersection of cultural studies and social sciences. The journal covers a number of sub-fields in cultural geography, including but not limited to cultural identity, heritage conservation, urban culture, landscape change, and spatial dynamics of cultural production and consumption.
The journal encourages the use of a variety of research methods, including qualitative analysis, historical research, case studies, and theoretical inquiry, to promote a comprehensive understanding of cultural geographical phenomena. It places particular emphasis on research that sheds light on how cultural practices, representations, and meanings are formed and changed in different geographical and social contexts. In addition, the journal focuses on how macro processes such as globalization, urbanization, and social change affect the development of local cultures, and how these cultures shape and reshape spatial meaning.
