Applied Food Biotechnology is dedicated to advancing the interdisciplinary research of food science and biotechnology, and it provides a platform for researchers around the world to publish innovative research results and cutting-edge technology applications. The breadth of the journal's content is reflected in its in-depth exploration of all aspects of the food industry, from basic biochemical processes to complex bioengineering techniques to the application of modern nanotechnology in food processing and packaging.
The journal puts special emphasis on innovative approaches in food production, such as modifying microbial strains through metabolic engineering and genetic engineering, to improve the nutritional value and production efficiency of food. At the same time, the journal also focuses on food safety, including the study of food microbiology, which helps to develop new food preservation techniques and extend the shelf life of food. In the field of food packaging, the use of biopolymers as renewable and environmentally friendly materials provides new solutions for food packaging.
