Ecumenica Performance and Religion is an academic journal dedicated to religious performance arts, exploring how religious rituals, drama, music, and other forms of performance express and spread religious beliefs in different cultures and belief systems. The content of this magazine is not limited to theoretical analysis, but also includes case studies, criticism of live performances, and a historical review of religious performance practices. Through these studies, the journal aims to promote understanding of the intersection of religion and performing arts, and provide a platform for scholars, artists, and students to share research findings and innovative perspectives.
The characteristic of the journal lies in its interdisciplinary research methodology, which combines perspectives from multiple disciplines such as religious studies, performance studies, anthropology, and art history.
