Geographical Research is a comprehensive geographical academic journal co-sponsored by the Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Geographical Society of China. Since its inception in January 1982, Geographical Research has been committed to displaying and exchanging the innovative results of geographical science research in China. This journal mainly publishes high-level academic papers with innovative significance, as well as research reports, thematic reviews and hot topics with guidance for the application and development of geography.
As an important academic platform in the field of geographical science, Geographical Research covers a wide range of research fields of geography and its sub-disciplines and interdisciplines, including the fields of land surface system, land resources and utilization, economy and regional development, hydrology and water resources, environment and ecology, society and culture, geoinformation science, urban and rural studies, etc. The journal is famous for its high academic quality and great influence, and has a significant academic status and appeal in the geographical science community.
