The objectives of Geo: Geography and Environment include: covering a wide range of fields related to geography, environment, and related research; Promote new understanding and strengthen communication between geographic research agendas, including human land interactions, global North South relations, and academic and policy exchanges; Promote spatial research and emphasize the importance of geographical exploration in understanding and addressing contemporary issues; Promote the development of methodology, including collaborative forms of knowledge production, interdisciplinary approaches, and innovative use of quantitative and/or qualitative datasets; Publish research articles, review papers, data and digital humanities papers, and commentaries with international significance.
The magazine focuses on a wide range of topics, including climate change, biodiversity, land use, water resources, energy, and more. It is committed to promoting interdisciplinary research and global perspectives, and providing a forum for active debate.
