Journal of High Speed Networks is an international academic journal aimed at providing a publishing platform for numerous topics of interest in the fields of high-performance networks and communications. The audience of the magazine includes researchers, managers, as well as web designers and operators. Its main goal is to disseminate information and scientific knowledge in a timely manner.
The scope of topics covered is extensive, including but not limited to the design, optimization, operation, and management of communication network architecture; Research on wired and wireless local area networks, metropolitan area networks, and wide area network infrastructure; Flow engineering, measurement, monitoring; Network control and service architecture, quality of service, and service level agreements; Next generation network principles, protocol design, and evaluation; Network signaling, pricing, and billing; Unicast and multicast routing; Control and optimization of communication systems; Congestion and flow management and control; Examples of optical networks and related switching technologies and control planes; Access and home high-speed networks (passive optical networks and last mile distribution systems); Wireless, cellular, and mobile communication; High speed network equipment, interfaces, and controllers; Reliability, availability, service capability, fault tolerance, and error recovery; Economic and regulatory issues in network communication; Performance evaluation, tools, modeling, and simulation; Network applications and case studies; Evolutionary network protocols, services, and architectures; Management of evolutionary network services, etc.
