The Journal of Comparative Linguistics is an academic journal that may focus on the comparative study of languages. This journal may cover comparative analysis between different languages, including but not limited to the areas of language structure, language function, language evolution, language contact, and language policy.
The journal may pay special attention to the contrastive method of language analysis, exploring how to reveal the general features and special phenomena of language by comparing different language systems. In addition, the journal may publish research on linguistic typology, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and computational linguistics, providing a platform for linguists, language educators, and language planners to exchange and share knowledge and insights.
As an international academic journal, the Journal of Comparative Languages may provide a forum for linguists around the world to publish original research results. The journal may encourage an interdisciplinary approach, combining theoretical and empirical research in the fields of linguistics, anthropology, psychology, sociology, etc., to comprehensively explore the diversity and complexity of languages.
