Arab Studies Quarterly (ASQ) is an academic journal dedicated to the field of Arab studies, published by Pluto Journals. Since its establishment in 1979 by the late Edward Said and Professor Ibrahim Abu Lugod, this magazine has been dedicated to providing a platform for the academic community to combat anti Arab propaganda obscured by academic jargon through academic research.
The founding background of the Arab Studies Quarterly reflects the urgent need for in-depth research on Arab culture and history, and for correcting misunderstandings and biases towards the Arab world from the outside world. It aims to enhance global understanding and respect for the Arab world by publishing high-quality academic papers that explore the history, culture, society, and political systems of the Arab people. ASQ covers a wide range of disciplines, including Arab history, culture, society, politics, economy, etc., and is an important window for understanding the dynamics of Arab research.
