Pragmatic And Observational Research雜志英文介紹
Pragmatic and Observational Research is an internationally peer-reviewed open access journal published by Dove Medical Press. This journal has been published since 2010, focusing on publishing research data that is more closely related to real-world clinical practice. Compared to traditional randomized controlled trials (RCTs), these studies are designed to evaluate medical interventions for real-world patients. Traditional RCTs aim to maximize internal effectiveness and establish clear causal relationships between interventions and outcomes, but they typically represent only a minority of the real patient population, thus having limitations.
The aim of Pragmatic and Observational Research is to supplement these data and provide a broader reflection of patient populations and drug use to assist in guiding policy development and the widespread dissemination of research results. This journal publishes data from prospective and retrospective studies aimed at evaluating outcomes relevant to real-world clinical practice. By disseminating this data and utilizing techniques and methods for optimizing real-world modeling, the journal has facilitated result validation, elevated standards and collaboration in this growing field of research.
