Conservar Patrimonio is dedicated to providing a high-quality academic platform for researchers and practitioners in the field of heritage conservation and restoration. As the field of conservation and restoration continues to advance, the field not only needs its own technical and theoretical support, but also must work closely with other relevant disciplines, including art history, archaeology, museum studies, chemistry, physics, biology, etc. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the journal aims to demonstrate how knowledge and methods from these fields can be effectively applied in the practice of the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
The journal encourages contributions from all relevant fields, not limited to traditional conservation and restoration techniques, but also to emerging theoretical issues and methodological discussions. Whether it is an analysis of specific cases or an assessment of conservation strategies, the journal welcomes authors to submit research that addresses various aspects of cultural heritage. In addition, the journal also focuses on theoretical articles that explore how to effectively implement conservation activities in changing social and environmental conditions.
