IEEE Journal on Exploratory Solid State Computational Devices and Circuits is an academic journal dedicated to exploratory research in the field of solid-state circuits. This journal is published by the IEEE Solid State Circuit Society and aims to promote interdisciplinary research, particularly in the use of exploratory materials and devices for novel, energy-efficient computing research that goes beyond traditional complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology.

The main focus of the magazine is to explore new materials, quantum electronic devices, spintronics and nanomagnetic devices, strain electronics (piezoelectric) devices, plasma optics, functional materials, high fan in/fan out logic circuits, reconfigurable and non-volatile computing circuits, as well as computing circuits for understanding on-chip communication methods. This journal is dedicated to providing researchers with a unique interdisciplinary forum to document the progress of promising alternative technologies as alternatives to CMOS technology in the fields of computing devices, circuits, and architecture.
