The Debate Universitario magazine is a biennial open access academic publication of the Open University Research Secretariat and the Center for Higher Education Research in the Americas, focusing on the field of education and educational research. Its main goal is to promote the exchange of ideas, research, and debate on the role of universities in the current stage and the core issues of the university system. The purpose of this magazine is to provide a space for disseminating original research, commentary, reviews, and theoretical papers that address relevant and current issues in the context of university education. Similarly, it promotes the participation of academia, researchers, professors, and professionals in the field of education, in order to discuss and reflect on the challenges and opportunities faced by higher education.
