The Journal Of Critical Care Medicine aims to improve the quality of patient care in clinical practice by publishing research results with practical application. The journal focuses on providing the latest, reviewed information or updated knowledge that can be directly applied to the field of clinical critical care medicine. Notably, the journal does not accept experimental research, instead prioritizing types of research that can directly impact and improve clinical practice. The editorial Board is composed of a group of international experts with extensive experience and influence in the field of critical medicine, who guarantee the quality and academic rigor of the journal.
The journal welcomes all types of submissions, including original research, reviews, meta-analyses, and narrative reviews. Original research should provide new data and insights, while reviews should integrate existing literature to provide a broad perspective. A meta-analysis should reveal overall trends by systematically aggregating results from multiple studies, while a narrative review focuses more on providing a comprehensive review within the field. Research letters may provide new perspectives or additional information on currently published articles, while medical ethics discussions focus on ethical issues encountered in clinical practice.
