The British Journal of diabetes (BJD) is a peer reviewed academic journal officially published by the Association of British Clinical Diabetes. The journal aims to increase knowledge, spread research, promote better management of diabetes and its related conditions, and provide a platform for health care practitioners to exchange ideas. BJD published original research, review articles, position statements, editorials, discussion papers and case reports on the diagnosis and management of diabetes, covering all aspects from clinical nursing, education, nutrition, clinical psychology, cardiovascular and metabolic risks to emerging technologies and treatment methods.
The readers of the journal mainly include general practitioners, hospital endocrinologists, general physicians and surgeons who are interested in diabetes.
