Southern European scholars and societies have always used 'South European Society And Politics' as their main reference point. This journal not only promotes comparative and interdisciplinary analysis, but also provides an innovative platform for research at the national and sub national levels. It covers a wide geographical range, including traditional southern European countries such as Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain, as well as emerging southern European regions such as Cyprus, Malta and Türkiye.

This magazine is open to scholars from all major social science disciplines, especially those focused on political science, political economy, sociology, social policy, social anthropology, and social law research. In addition, it also welcomes submissions from scholars in the field of contemporary history, as a historical perspective is crucial for understanding the complexity of contemporary Southern European society.
